Hey you good people, My son(fishcakes) has a 2011 iMac which we forgot the admin password for so tried to reboot it by inserting the disc OS X Leopard(not sure if it was updated to a newer version) and when it restarted we had the dreaded white screen of death! I've tried turning on and holding Shift and holding option but nothing comes up, turning on hold command, p and r until the chime kicks in then let go but nothing. Also Command R, nothing. You can hear the disk going through the motions but nothing happens. It has the wireless mouse and only the keyboard plugged in the back. Is there anything I can do or is it a job for apple repair? Thank you kindly.
