I sometimes connect my iPhone 5S to this MacBook Air for synching-purposes. Since I installed IOS 8, I have found that, if I pull the connecting-cable out without first ejecting the iPhone (having first made sure that all synching has been completed) instead of giving me a warning that this may damage data in the iPhone, the MacBook Air simply shuts down. Why is this happening ?
