Dear Forum,

I have tried different solutions on the internet but nothing has worked out.

The problem: I deleted my windows partition to free some space using the boot camp assistant. But since then the additional space just disappeared and I have no idea how to get it back. Here screenshots from the disk utility manager.

As you can see I should have 251 GB but it only shows 213 GB
Same if I use the partition option on the APPLE SSD

I really feel helpless and don't know how to approach this.

Deleting a partition does not automatically reallocate the free space to other partitions, you have to grow these manually.

In your last picture you have the ability to add the free white space (your old bootcamp partition) to the ssd media. Have you tried here to expand to fill up all 251 GB, e.g. use + button.

i had this problem too, some time ago. if i remember correctly i used windows's own partition manager to readd the available space.
i couldn't manage to solve the problem with mac's disk utility.

I just found the solution:

I ran terminal
diskutil list

then deleted the Microsoft Reserved disk (in my case disk0s4) using
diskutil eraseVolume free free disk0s4

I then deleted the EFI EFI disk using the approach from this site:
