recently have run into an error message on my macbook air early 2015....where my startup drive was almost full. i was totally shocked. i have only 120GB so regularly copy files to external drives.
i cleaned it all up and with no files on laptop at all, i still have in OTHER category 40.49GB. cannot figure out what is contained there. I realize probably Apps and related files but what else.
i have heard about disk X which will list all files in a particular area so i can identify what is in OTHER and maybe delete some of those unwanted or unneeded files.
can anyone comment on this app?
[doublepost=1496847549][/doublepost]just to say that i did run disk x. in trying to select a folder to open, could not find what files are in the other storage folder.
