title edit: Now* instead of not

3 weeks ago the display on mu iPhone 6 became unresponsive. Would not respond to any touch. I restored it and set it up as new in case it was software but that didn't work.

I just made an appointment to get a new display and all of a sudden...3 weeks later, the display is working with no problem.

Is it possible there is a loose cable and I should take it into the store just to check connections?

curious to hear others thoughts on this?

It could be a bad screen, poor connections or it could be some Touch related circuit issue on the logic board. Depending on how practical (or not) it is to get to an Apple Store, you would just wait and see if the problem comes back. If you have an issue, it will come back and that's the best time to have it looked at.
