And also dropping off my Apple Watch for a battery replacement as well, no pass code needed from employees as well? No, they don’t need your passcode.
Nope. See my edit above. Backing up the phone also backs up your watch I believeAnd also dropping off my Apple Watch for a battery replacement as well, no pass code needed from employees as well?

Good point. I’d unpair the watch to set it back to factory defaultI ask only cause I know when it comes to an Apple Watch battery replacement they just give you a new watch or refurbished I just know they don’t open up the Watch and actually swap out the battery
I just did my battery replacement last week.
They had me unlock my phone. They had me turn off Find My
They confirmed my ID.
They ran diagnostics.
They had me shut my phone off.
Then I came back in an hour and picked it up, on but locked.

They damaged the sides of my phone during a battery replacement. I ended up with a new phone.Yeah they do all that because sometimes battery replacement goes wrong and they end up bricking the phone in which case they need to give you a refurbished one.
