Do you use webloc files?

Whenever I find a website I want to revisit, I highlight the address bar and drag it to a folder on my desktop. It creates a .webloc file I can double-click to revisit the site. Does anyone else do this?

Also how many people use Stacks on their desktop? It's very amazing and helpful for organization of files.

Yes. I find webloc files to be very handy.

But... no stacks here. At all.

Hadn't thought of this. Will try to see how it compares to using the intended mechanism for this use case, the browser bookmarks.

One thing a webloc file can do that a bookmark can't do:

I can have a webloc on the desktop (I have numerous ones there), and either right-click on it or drag it to a browser icon in the dock to open it.

Thus, I can open the webloc into DIFFERENT BROWSERS as I may choose.
