like title says "does anyone know where installer puts temp files when unpacking a package ?" basically ive had an instance where i was installing something and it had and error. i believe if it is possible that it is left somewhere due to disk space being lower.
also was wondering if you can restore the ipod back to and empty state where all the programs that were installed through installer can be removed via ftp or ssh. without actually restoring and re hacking the ipod.
any help will be greatly appreciated.
