Resolved Does Apple disable the unlock Mac feature of the Apple Watch if it's been repaired?

I know they disable features on the Apple Watch, just wondering if they disabled this feature on the watch? Just I bought a third party refurb and this feature isn't working. It just keeps saying "unable to communicate" when I try to enable it on the Mac.

Isn’t that feature only works if your watch and Mac is signed to the same Apple ID?

Yeh it is, it doesn't matter now as I updated to the new Mac OS and it fixed it.
