I understand these are photos and subject to color variation in photography and display, but Apple's are usually true to life.

Looks like they may have finally done what I wanted since the iPhone 4S days and made the color slightly off white. It also looks like this may be the case from hands-on photos, but those always have a yellow cast anyway due to the lighting.
I know this is minutiae, but that's what we do here. Besides, if iPhone XR had this shade of white, I'd have bought it instead of the black one I got
