Hi there

I use an external 1TB SSD for TimeMachine backups which is Mac formatted. Then I partitioned that drive to a 150GB Windows NTFS section/ drive so I can put some Windows files on there and move around between the OS'es.

But while macOS recognizes the drive and this second partition it doesn't show up in Windows at all.

I didn't expect the main drive to show up in Windows 10 as it's Mac formatted for TimeMachine. But I thought at least the smaller Windows NTFS partition drive would show up in Windows explorer?

Unfortunately not. How to properly do this?

How did you format the second partition to NTFS? What app did you use to format it that way? The only app that I trust to format a drive to NTFS other than Windows itself is Paragon NTFS.

Sorry forgot to write. The first time I formatted it I selected NTFS, then I resized it and formatted again and forgot to use NTFS (accidentally left on Mac Journaled). That's why.

Works again after re-doing with NTFS.

Case resolved.
