downgrading from iOS11 to iOS9

Ive updated to iOS11 but still have an iTunes backup from iOS9. Suppose i do a Restore, will it work and Restore my iPhone back to iOS9?

You cannot go back to iOS 9. An iOS 9 backup will work on iOS 11.
