Hi all,

Like most of you, I have several IOS devices and would prefer not to download IOS 6 for each one.

Is there a trick to updating multiple devices but downloading only once?

Thanks.

You can do a direct download of the .ipsw file for each device then manually apply that update. Here is a list of links by device. They are different for each type device though, so this may not completely solve your issue.

To apply a .ipsw follow this.

Gizmodo put up a bunch of direct links yesterday.

However, the issue here is that there's a slightly different version depending on what device you are upgrading. So if by "multiple devices" you mean "3 iPhone 4ses, knock yourself out.

But if you mean that you have an iPad 2, and iPhone 4 and an iPhone 4s, you're going to be stuck downloading multiple versions anyway.
