I have the same problem in mojave. I have a Macpro 2009, 10,14,6. When I try to download an update or some file in Safari, Firefox, the process stops. I have to press repeat many times to get to the end. In Apple's updates, files download normally, while web browsing is very fast. What could be wrong and how can it be fixed? Thanks.
