Hey, I am running a 1TB iMac Retina 5K 27" 2017, with MacOS Ventura 13.0.1... I have ran into a problem after a failed bootcamp windows instalation. After it failed, I wanted to revert all of the disk partitioning, but after BootCamp Asistant tried to revert everything it just said something like the disk cant be repartitioned for some reason and I should try the first aid thing. But the space that was taken by the Windows files disappeared anyway, leaving me with unallocated space on my drive. But when I wanted to resize the iMac partition back to its 1TB size manually, it appeared that the Mac thinks the drive is almost 1,6TB... I have no idea what to do at this point because I can not lose any of the data on my drive...

Fusion drives are worse than useless. Utterly aggravating garbage. Literally the worst thing that Apple has ever made. It would be better to actually throw the entire thing in the garbage just to spite it. The alternative is to use an SSD. You can either run it externally or if you're the type that would enjoy it, take the iMac apart and install an SSD internally. I repeat, do not try to save your Fusion Drive for use. I hope you have a backup. Spinning hard drives inside iMacs are heaping garbage piles of nonsense and eternal frustration. Save yourself!

Well yeah, they are kinda trash... But I want to fix this problem by actually fixing the drive, not throwing it away...

The "way out of this" is probably going to be to completely erase the drive and start over, restoring your Mac data afterwards...

It’s not kinda trash it is trash. An ssd is 60 dollars and is extraordinarily better in every single way. Have some respect for yourself and your time.
