Resolved DropBox causing major slowdowns!!!

Hello everyone,

I have a 2019 MBP and a 2020 MBA, both are exhibiting extremely slow behavior due to the recent Dropbox update that has been pushed OTA.
If y’all are experiencing the same thing happening where it takes FOREVER to do anything on your Mac, it’s due to the Dropbox app!!!

It appears to be a bug related to wifi being activated on our machines. See post below.

Having wifi enabled slows my mac down to a crawl

This is the most bizzare problem. My Macbook slows to a crawl when WiFi is enabled. I'm not talking about internet speed, that is fine. But simply launching or using apps becomes extremely slow. Apps will bounce on the dock for 10 minutes before they load. As soon as I turn off Wifi...

Same issue here. Force quit Dropbox and the fan went down, now normal battery drain. Anyone know whether Dropbox is aware of the issue?
