I dropped my mac and now the screen is flickering and there is a white bar going from top to bottom. Is this fixable? If so, where is the best reasonable place to get this fixed? I hope it won't be too expensive to fix this issue.

It could just be a dislodged cable, although that looks like a crack bottom left.
It is cracked. The 1/2" or so at the left edge (inboard of the bezel) isn't even lit, then the 1" or so of white then the accurate display starts.

Where are you located and what model is your MBP? You should be able to get a second hand display (I ended up getting the display with the top cover in pristine condition on eBay for around $70 for a mid 2012 13" non retina) and swap it out for your damaged one--be much cheaper than buying a new one. If you do go out and buy a new laptop, you should be able to get a pretty good price for your laptop with broken display if you were to go the ebay route.
