hi guys,

just found a cool trick, not sure if you know of this, but if you drag a widget out of the dashboard selector bar, then press F12 (or whatever your dashboard activation key is) whilst holding it, you can effectively drag your widget to the desktop and it will stay there. has anyone encountered this before?

this is cool, but the only problem is is that it stays on top all the time. wich is annoying when using the internet and such.

edit: the widget gets 'absorbed' and becomes part of the dashboard again when you activate dashboard after.

If you search around, there is also a trick somewhere, I think, that lets you get more than one widget onto the desktop at once (since it will go back to the widget screen the next time you switch focus to widgets)....
