Dual Speaker Earbuds?

So I was reading the threads on here for recommended earbuds, I liked some of the ones recommended but none really caught my eye. I was watching some videos (a podcast) when I came across a set of earbuds with dual speakers per ear, do you believe that is really worthwhile? Apparently, they had one speaker for "highs" and one for "lows." Does anyone have experience with earbuds like these? I'm looking for ones in the under $125 price range. Thanks.

Not sure about regular earbuds, but dual & triple driver IEM's are usually a bit more expensive than that.
