Has anyone tried out the new distributed encoding in DVDSP?

I've asked about Xgrid for iLife before. I have a 1Ghz G4 iMac and an 800Mhz G4 iBook. I'd love to use both G4 processores when encoding a DVD in iDVD (or DVDSP).

My 1Ghz G4 iMac takes about 5 hours to encode one hour in iDVD. If I added the 800mhz G4 iBook and used DVDSP's distributed encoding how much of an improvment would I see? 30%?

surely you should see an 80% improvement, because 800Mhz is 80% of 1Ghz I don't know how much RAM you have or what speed your network and hardrives are but I reckon you'll see 60% or more improvement.
