Using the example at http://foundationphp.com/tutorials/vhosts_leopard.php Im trying to edit a root file - like HD:private:etc:hosts but when I click Unlock, it doesnt ask for the MAC password. When I try to save it, it keeps saying :
Code:
This operation couldn't be completed because an error occurred.
You do not have sufficient privileges to perform this operation.
(MacOS Error Code : -5000)
But according to the link :
Save the file. Because it's owned by "root", you will be prompted to enter your Mac password.

Update : This happens only with the version of TextWrangler from AppStore and not with the direct download.
