Editing projects on multiple devices

Getting a new intel MacBook Pro 16 from work. Is it possible to edit off a hard drive on an intel MacBook Pro and a M1 Mac mini? Or will the project be jacked if I start on the M1 and try to switch to Intel?

I go back and forth machines for a lot of projects.

It’s still macOS on both devices. As long as your projects use the same Mac app version, you should be fine.

It will work, I did so for a short time using an Intel Mac mini and an Apple Silicon MacBook Air with FCP. The only problems back then were those plugins, which were not compatible with Apple Silicon yet.
