Apple frequently makes deals to sell iPads to educational agencies that come with pre-bundled software. (See LAUSD).

Does anyone know who decides what software is included (LAUSD or Apple or both)? What the selection process is like? If I make my app available to institutional purchases, will that put me in the queue?

Thanks!

This would be good to know.

I am guessing you recieve an email from Apple when you are selected (kind of like getting featured). I bet your odds are higher if its a free app or if you atleast offer the edu discount.
