OS X Eight ball deluxe .SIT unable to unzip files

Hello,

I would like to install this game running the latest Mojave but when I double click to open the package it opens a text file. I read on another site that the latest stuff it doesn't extract the files.

Its a stuffit compressed file as it seems. Are you positive the game runs on Mojave?

I'm not really sure if it runs on Mojave I wanted to try it out.

Did you try stuffit expander? Its available via the App Store (free). .sit is a vintage format widely used in classic OS 9. Maybe you are lucky

I was able to extract the files but I get an error. It would have been nice to play it since it was built into the Mac that I always wanted Performa 630CD.

You could still try an emulator (like Sheepshaver)....
