Weeks of suffering, hours of searching for how to fix my Safari issue on my mac, and I figured it out.

When I was opening Safari, it was defaulting to Private Browsing, and losing my last session data.

This was ticking me off, as I had to open a new window from there, and then browse my history to restore my pages.

The following Lines had to be changed in com.apple.Safari.plist

<key>AlwaysRestoreSessionAtLaunch</key>
<true/>
<key>OpenPrivateWindowWhenNotRestoringSessionAtLaunch</key>
<false/>

EDIT: I hope this helps someone who has this same problem, as I spent hours searching on here and other spots, with no resolution to be found.
