I have a 320gb hdd with El Capitan already installed on it.
The Macbook 2,1 does not read it. When i press OPTION key upon startup there are 2 EFI BOOT options. I've tried both and get the PROHIBITORY SYMBOL. :/
When i tried to run in single user mode it tells me that version of Osx is not supported on this platform.
So.....
What can i possibly do to work around this?
I have another one but it's only on 10.6.8 (snow leopard i think) and what I'm trying to do is update/upgrade them a little so they can be used.
My wifi here is super slow and unreliable so I'm afraid downloading osx isn't gonna work.
Is there anything i can do to make it work?
Thanks in advance :) I appreciate any and all help
