Erased all my drives and now can’t install macOS Sierra in recovery

I need help I’m trying to reinstall Mac OS Sierra but it won’t let me and I really need help

Start the computer and inmediately press Alt+cmd+R. G to Disk utilities. Reformat the disk and re-install the OS.

Hi all,

I am having this exact same problem. I tried the above but unfortunately I get stuck on the Apple screen after internet recovery stage.

This is the error I get when I try to reinstall MacOS:
“An error occurred while preparing the installation. Try running this application again.”

I was trying to pass this Mac on and erased drives etc but then couldn’t get past this error despite seemingly trying all the tips/YouTube videos I could find online.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi, I can’t thank you enough for this. After a lot of trial and error and working my way through other online help resources along the way whenever I got stuck, I have tonight, finally, got this working using the help you kindly provided. Much appreciated indeed.
