I'd like to use shared folders to share photos with friends and family (they are on Apple and non apple devices) and created a folder invited people, but when ever they like to join they get an error message saying:
"An error occurred while joining this shared album. Please try again later."

I recreated the error when inviting my wife and following the joining link.
I have turned on shared folders in the iCloud preferences / the photo app. I have also tried to repair the library but this didn't work either.
Maybe someone might be able to help me here.
