Carrier ESIM ATT Question

Hello

If i buy an iPhone 14 Pro on ATT as part of an upgrade to one of the phones on my plan and then want to use it with a different ATT number is that possible? Used to i could just swap sims and be good but not sure if ATT allows you to move a number between esims.

Just call in and say you want to take someones upgrade instead. If you don't do it this way; this yes it'll disconnect the person you upgrade by yourself. And you'll have to call in anyways to activate the new phone with your number providing the EID and IMEI 2 information and also activate the person you cut off.
