Hey guys, we now know that iPhones sold in EU countries have two years or more of coverage (without Applecare). Does it also cover accidental damage?

If crack my screen on my new phone, are they going to fix it without the full additional charge? Or the EU law doesn't guarantee that?

If I want to have a drop/accident coverage, is Applecare the only guarantee (apart from 3rd party insurance) and the EU law doesn't cover it?

Thanks!

No, it is for manufacturing defects only.

For accidental your choices are Apple care plus, home insurance or a device insurance plan via insurers who do individual items.
