Hi all!

Just a quick question for the hive mind. I currently have a Linksys Mesh Router (AX6000) but have some weak zones that I'd like to strengthen. My questions is can I use another Linksys router (MR7320/AX1800) as a node to do it? These are both WiFi 6 devices. I have received conflicting information from Linksys "support" on this. I know it used to be the best way to actually extend your network, as extenders just don't work. Thanks for any assistance!

Nope mate, You have to get a "satellite". The only thing that will create a mesh network is one of the AX6000 VELOPs. But make sure you get a satellite, not a router.

IF you are a hands-on networking guy and would know how L2 handshakes work, you can do with such a router, but unless you know what I have just said, I'd advise not to try.
