Extending Network with Airport Express w/Streaming

I would like to extend my 802.11n (Time Capsule) network with an older (802.11g) Airport Express using WDS. I know this is possible -- and have found the instructions for setting this up. But I would also like to maintain the ability to use the Express to stream from iTunes to my audio system. Is this possible? If so, how is it done?

I thought I knew how to set up a WDS network, but after following the instructions to the letter, still no joy. The Airport Express and the Time Capsule constantly lose contact, even if they are located near each other.

Does anyone have any experience setting up and troubleshooting WDS networks?
