I have the Macbook Pro 13" 2017 non-retina. I am using a CalDigit Thunderbolt mobile dock to connect to 2 Dell monitors using HDMI cord. The dock supports up to apx. 4000x3000 display. In display settings my only options are 1600x900, 1080p, 720p. The 1600x900 sucks and the 1080p is still a little fuzzy. Can the Macbook not support any higher resolutions?

The 2017 MBP should support up to 2x5K.

Any ideas why its only giving me those options? My monitor is rated for 1980x1080 but not giving me the option

Do you get full resolution when you plug the monitors directly into the MacBook Pro?

My 2015 MBP 13 will drive two QHD monitors with no problems. But I don't use a hub.

I only have the 2 USB-C connections on it so I had to buy a hub. It came from the apple store so I am assuming its quality.

Someone with your particular hub would have to diagnose it with you then. I looked at a lot of Thunderbolt 2 hubs to use with my older system and every one that I looked at had some issues in the Amazon Review section. There are some monitors that you can daisy-chain too using Mini-DisplayPort.
