I know you can plug in an external drive and have it recognized by the files app on the iPad. Will that work on the iPhone too? I'm a sports photographer and had issues this year trying to upload photos (long story) and I needed to get them from a flash drive to my iPhone and it was not possible in any way. It was a very frustrating experience, and was another one of those moments where I went, should I go to Android? But the Apple ecosystem keeps me around.
