I recently plugged in my external drive into my new MBP and mistakenly unplugged it wothout ejecting it first. The drive was an old drive from my old PC and was partitioned with NTFS and 2 FAT32 partitions. Now when the HD is plugged into the Mac, only the NTFS partition shows up. Is my info gone??? Help me Please!!!

No.

Unplugging shouldn't erase or overwrite the information. Your problems is simply that your Mac isn't seeing the other files.

My suggestion: attach the drive to another computer, archive the data on a cd or dvd, erase the drive and start again. This time, let the Mac format the drive.

I 2nd that motion...

since the manufacturer states that you shouldn't use the external hard drive for both Mac and PC. I've utilized my 8GB jump drive and transferred to the external hard drive, but only with files that are Mac.
