So, I tried using the mini dvi adapter from apple to use my lcd tv as an external or second monitor for my macbook.
I can't get it to work. I go to the properties, and click on the"2" screen and click "extend my windows desktop to this monitor" then everytime I click apply, it clears that checked box and does not work.
I tried going to the intel graphics properties, from there, it wont let me select the external monitor option because it says a second monitor needs to be connected.
When I first tried it out, I got it to display on my lcd tv, but the resoltuion was not right, now I can't get it to display there anymore. Any options I should be looking for or is there any easier way to go about this?
Are the drivers supported on boot camp for external monitors?
