EyeTV for DTT - Not recording - Error Code -50

As the title says, my eyeTV for DTT (Terratec T2) keeps refusing to record, providing me with an error code -50. Does anyone know what this means? It also refuses to let me view channels after this error has appeared. Extremely frustrating, looking for a quick fix if somone can help me with this?

Have you trashed the plist file for eyetv, or even trash all of eyetv and reinstalled it.
