Hi all, hoping this is in the right place.
I have a Mac Mini hooked up as a HTPC and currently have it connected to my cable box via EyeTV HD. Their own forums aren't too active so I thought I'd post my question here. I've been noticing that there are gaps in the recordings. Take this morning - classic case. I left it to record six thirty-minute television shows. The first show recorded 27 minutes and all the rest recorded 29 minutes, which was the correct amount. Checking the 27 minute recording, I see that the recording stopped dead in the middle of a scene and EyeTV seems to have restarted a minute later, resuming the recording.
I'm curious if the computer is going to sleep, EyeTV is waking it up, and it's resuming the recording, but that wouldn't explain why it's not happening more frequently. Has anyone else had an issue with this product?
