General Facebook notifications don't sync across devices

Hi,

I have to clear notifications (get rid of the red (1) on the Facebook icon) on the iPad having read them on the iPhone already.

Is there any fix for this?

No. Notification sync was an announced feature several iOS versions ago but it never came to be. Super annoying.
