Hi there.

I've got this Mac Pro (once 4.1) upgraded to the firmware version MP51.0089.B00 and I'm trying to upgrade to Mojave and install the firmware 144.0.0.0.0 to get the boot from NVME option.

I've tried everything the guides online suggested me to troubleshoot.

I've removed every disk except fro the boot-able SSD, removed every PCI-E cards except for the Vega 56 that i need for the upgrade and also resetting the NVRAM and changing also the amount. I've also removed the Logitech receiver to see if it would cause problems but nothing to do :(

Just to let u know, as keyboard I'm using an old Apple one (A1243) and the Monitor is conected directly with a DP cable.

This are my specs but If anyone has a suggestion that would be lovely.

I've actually followed this guide, with paying attention to everything 😭
😭.

Thank you, it's written beautifully btw.

Is there any way to install just the firmware?

You can't just flash the firmware, doing it all the serialization and fine tuning of sensors and ports from the factory will be gone forever.

The only workaround is the BootROM reconstruction service, I'll send you a PM with instructions/required files/service cost/turnaround time.
