iPad Failure of Apple to support Magic Mouse on iPad.

With all of the “fluff” “enhancements” to the iPad arena, why has Apple overtly failed to get their own Magic Mouse to support scrolling when used on the iPad? Is it that they are inept, or just can’t be bothered to support their customers? Or both? Anyone else?
