Today, I received notifications of some charges in the Wallet app for one of my cards which I did not make. Obviously, this made me think fraud. However, when I actually opened the bank's app to check the charges on this card, they weren't there. I checked the Wallet app again, and they are clearly listed in the recent transactions. I contacted the bank to inquire about the charges, and they said they weren't there—no authorization attempt or anything. So weird. Is this a bug? Apple's fault? AmEx's fault?

Neither Apple nor AmEx has been helpful. AmEx still says the charges are nonexistent, and Apple says "they only display transaction information that is passed to them by the card issuer."
