I upgraded to iOS 13 when it was first released...the upgrade resulted in a false phone badge icon / count in that a red badge indicating that I had 13 missed calls appeared (i.e. it was not there before the upgrade).
I tried everything I could think of to remove the false badge -- clearing all call history / rebooting the phone / etc. -- noting that nothing worked.
One observation I did have was that the badge count -- other than the false 13 was working (i.e. when I actually missed a call, the badge / call count went up and when I then "looked" at the missed badge / call count went down) but there was allays that false 13!
With iOS 13.1 being less than a week away I decided to wait. I just upgraded to iOS 13.1 only to discover that the problem still exists in teh same unchanged way.
Would greatly appreciate any and all advise as to ho to solve this problem.
