i've posted my fan control settings a few posts above:

i keep the min at 1800rpm. at idle, the cpu temp is around 102F for me, so don't really see the need to spin the fan any faster. with my current FC settings, under heavy loads it can get to around 150F with fan around 3000. i'm ok with that.

you'll probably have logic board or graphics problems within a few years. good luck with that.
