Just purchased a new 2024 Toyota Highlander with wireless CarPlay. I mainly an Android phone initially but just switched to my iPhone 13.
While the << and >> steering wheel buttons work as expected for the car radio, Sirius/XM and MP3s from a USB drive, they do not change stations in the Simple Radio player like they do in Android Auto. The volume and mode buttons work as expected. Does anyone know if this is a CarPlay "thing"? I don't think it is configurable....
I the << and >> buttons definitely changed stations in the Simple Radio player when paired to my Samsung S23 and I could swear they worked the first time I tried paired my iPhone but I am not 100% certain.
