Fastest eGPU video card?

Whats the fastest video card thats installed in a eGPU case which is compatible with macOS Mojave?

A member of the AMD Radeon RX 5700 family would be a strong bet or the AMD Radeon Vega II which is older tech but more grunt.

Vega 64 or Radeon VII. (RX 5700 is faster at gaming, but requires Catalina 10.15.1 and newer).

Honorable mention to the RX 590.

Vega 64, but stock has been dwindling. Hard to find them still being sold new without markups. RX 5700 XT is not exactly in stock everywhere either, and it's 10.15.1+.

FYI, nearly every reseller was restocked late last week for Sapphire Pulse RX 5700 XT.

XFX are not advertised as compatible by Sonnet so would avoid them.
