Faulty graphics card?

i owned a late 2012 imac and recently, every time i open a game it hangs and today it shut down on his own.. when i tried to boot my mac, i always get stuck at apple logo while when booting on windows, it shut downs on his own at windows logo..

What should i do? Please help

If you can see this happen, unlikely to be the GPU.

If it’s the original HDD, that’s probably your culprit. I’ve never seen one in good shape after 5 years and they just keep getting worse till they crap out completely.

It can be a bad NV RAM battery but that’s a Hail Mary. If resetting the NV RAM changes anything, replace the battery. Very easy to do while changing the drive.
