Well, I started off the New Year with a Homer (Simpson) moment. I looked at the size of my FCP library - HUGE. Then I recalled I had not deleted the Render Files since acquiring the 2019 Mac Pro.

After I deleted the files, the library shrank by little over 700GB.

My New Year's goal is to not wait that long again.

I know what that's like. On my M1 MacBook Air I think I only deleted the render files a few times throughout 2021. So after I finished my latest YouTube Poop here that I uploaded on January 1st...

...I went and deleted the render files from my library, and it shrank considerably. It was around 300-something GB before, and afterward it was around 60 GB. I'm going to make a pact to delete the render files at least once a month, or after I complete a big video project on FCP (whether it's a YouTube Poop like that or something else elaborate.)
