iPhone 11 Pro files app , ios 14.3

greetings.

I have the apple files app(default) downloaded and also have a third party file manager that is documents by readdle, now whenever i download a html or txt file it downloads to my default files app but when i open it , it is opened to the mentioned third party app.
also when i tap and hold the file i want to open i can a see a list of items out of which when i select "quick look'' the file is opened in the default files app but when just tapped it opens to the other app.
till now i have experienced this thing with only file with file type .html or .txt.
is this normal?
if yes can you please explain me why is this happing.

Files trying to open in unintended apps or incompatible apps has been an ongoing intermittent issue at least since iOS 9. I have some JPG pictures that if I click on them, they want to open in a cycling logging app (which can't read them).

In addition to what @now i see it said, open the third party app preferences and make sure it isn't set to be the default action app. If so, change that setting. If not, I refer you back to @ Now's post.
