Filter for threads on year model hardware or software

Is there a way to ignore threads whose topics are about specific year model hardware or software?

Like say a rolling ignore on any new discussion of products that are more than 10 years or 520 weeks?

I've ignored a lot forums that predates the start of my using Apple products and I was hoping this could be automated?

I appreciate the separation of Early Intel Macs and Late Intel Macs but sometimes miscategorization occurs.

In some forums to some degree you can filter. For example, Early Intel Macs has prefixes, and if you click a prefix then save the resulting URL, it will take you to only threads with that prefix.

Beyond that, I cannot think of a good way to accomplish what you are after.
